5. Twin-label technology on the new Molson Canadian bottles

6. Tuning in an NHL game, hearing the announcer call a player's name, and saying to yourself, "I remember when I saw him in that regional in Madison way back when"

7. Great old barns like Lynah Rink, Yost Ice Arena, and Matthews Arena

8. We've mentioned them before, we'll mention them again: the Bud Song, the Beanpot, Miami co-eds, the Michigan Tech band, and Slapshot

9. Bosses who let you leave at 4:30 for Friday games and wives who let you leave at noon for Saturday night games
