NATHAN LAWSON
Alaska Anchorage

His Statistics: 2 GP, 56 saves, 4 GA

His Impact: The Seawolves find themselves in the middle of the WCHA standings – a marked improvement from the past few seasons – due in part to the fine play of Lawson, who has allowed two or fewer goals in four of his last five starts. Not surprisingly, UAA has won four of its last five, the latest being a sweep of North Dakota, which entered the series rated fourth in the INCH Power Rankings. Since losing a 3-2 overtime decision to Wisconsin at Sullivan Arena Nov. 3, Lawson has registered a .929 save percentage and a 2.50 goals against average. Getting a little support from your friends helps, too. The 10 goals scored against the Fighting Sioux last weekend are the most for UAA in a two-game series since the Seawolves tallied 11 in a sweep of Michigan Tech Jan. 4-5, 2002.

His Runners-Up: Andrew Gordon, St. Cloud State; Nathan Lawson, Alaska Anchorage; Chris Moran, Niagara; Jerry Pollastrone, New Hampshire; Andrew Ramsey, Air Force; Billy Sauer, Michigan; Brandon Wong, Quinnipiac
